dear God,

You're in every moment of the day
 You are the smile on a friend's face
  the love of a stranger
  the joy in life

i pause between the moments
 unsure of what's to come
but You are there
 You are the hope for the moment to come

as i pause i look around
 and all i see is Your majesty
i close my eyes
 yet Your glory remains in the wind in my hair
  the sun on my back
  the rain on my face

the next moment begins yet You don't fade away
